Yes. Before beginning a book-length project, we meet to discuss your goals, explore ideas, come up with a theme and structure, develop a detailed outline and test how our relationship works. I charge by the hour for these meetings. If you decide to move forward with the book project, what you’ve already paid for consulting is subtracted from the book project fee. You may also want to commission a small project–an article, presentation, or copy for your website–before you commit to a book.
